How it works

Choosing
1

Choose courses

Choose from over 100 fully planned academic and elective courses across twelve grades to fit your student's interests and level in each subject. If desired, add your own self-designed or externally sourced courses.

Customizing
2

Customize for your student

Choose any start and end date for your academic year, and add vacations. Add and remove books, adjust when assignments are scheduled, and more to achieve a fully customized program of learning for each student in your family.

Gathering
3

Gather books

Our curriculum doesn't sell prepackaged books, allowing greater flexibility on what is included and giving parents the option to save money by using libraries or buying used books. We provide tools to view parent reviews, find online deals, and order each book with one click.

Following
4

Follow with flexibility

Assignments are fully planned for each day within the dates you select, and weekly schedules and daily checklists help you stay on track. Decide what days you will work on each subject, and make adjustments to your curriculum and schedule any time.

Our academic approach

Education should encourage each student's unique strengths, while building a solid foundation for the achievement of life goals.

Our curriculum combines a strong base in verbal and math skills with plenty of room for children to explore their own projects and interests.

At the heart of it are great books: living works of literature, science, and history, both classic and modern.

What parents are saying

So far it has been the most customizable, low cost option that I have found that allows me to build a curriculum around where my kids are currently at. None of them fit squarely into a year. They are in different levels for math and reading and I like that I can adapt the curriculum to them.

My oldest has been ahead by multiple grade levels because he started with your program. I am excited to use what I learned from your program for my other boys! With your help, my oldest has a serious advantage academically.
Kamie Idaho
I love the scheduling and the book recommendations! I've loved being able to click finished items.

Frequently asked questions

Does the curriculum have any religious or political orientation?

Our curriculum is secular and free from any religious or political agenda. Our biology courses include the study of evolution, and history courses cover the development of all major world religions.

How much does it cost?

Our curriculum for kindergarten is completely free. For other grades, the cost is $28 – $49 monthly for your whole family. Financial need-based scholarships are available; please contact us for more information.

Does the curriculum produce its own books or learning materials?

The curriculum is compiled from carefully curated external materials. This lets students benefit from the world's best educational sources in each subject, and it creates space for great books on a wide variety of topics.

How much time will my child spend in front of a screen with your curriculum?

Little to none. Our curriculum is built around engaging with living books, nature, and art projects instead of apps and videos. Parents can optionally create a student login to view schedules and check off assignments, but the learning itself is done away from the screen.
