By the end of this activity, students should be able to locate each US state on a map. We suggest using Seterra Geography (www.geoguessr.com/l/usa), a free resource for learning states and other geographic facts.
Beginners should start by focusing on one region at a time. Study a map of the states in that region, then use Seterra to quiz yourself on their locations until you achieve 100% accuracy. Then move on to the next region. Finally, test yourself on all fifty states until you achieve a perfect score.
