Honors Chemistry with Lab

Description

As with biology, we use the open source CK-12 Chemistry for High School textbook as a framework. This course also includes a series of college-level chemistry lectures from the Great Courses.

The lab component follows a homeschooling chemistry lab manual written by a popular DIY science practitioner. Note that you will need to purchase or have access to equipment and supplies for the lab experiments. We have included suggestions for where to purchase them in the book description. You do not need to do all of the scheduled labs, but we recommend completing most of them for honors-level credit.

Students should keep a lab notebook, following the instructions in the lab manual.
