Chemistry with Lab

Description

This course differs from Honors Chemistry with Lab in that it does not include Great Courses lectures or supplementary reading, and it uses the standard instead of the honors version of the lab series.

As with biology, we use the open source CK-12 Chemistry for High School textbook as a framework. The lab component follows a homeschooling chemistry lab kit and manual written by a popular homeschool and DIY science practitioner. You may choose from among the scheduled labs rather than completing all of them (we recommend at least two per month). Students should keep a lab notebook, following the instructions in the lab manual.

Note that you will need to purchase or have access to equipment and supplies for the lab experiments. These are available as an all-inclusive kit, and the link to order them is in the lab kit description.
